**Employment Type**: Umbrella rate contract (inside IRP5) / Fixed Term Contract for 6 month rolling contract

**Summary of the role**:
We are looking for an experienced resource to join the Project Management Office for one of EXL’s client and leading UK Bank.

**As part of your duties, you will be responsible for**:

- To support the Head of Programme Delivery and the wider Change team with core PMO activities including project management support, risk management and change control, to maintain the bank’s project governance artefacts, while ensuring adherence across the programmes.
- To manage and deliver smaller projects and workstreams.
- Support the Change team with core PMO activities, including:

- Status monitoring and reporting
- Risk management - Programme governance
- PMO analysis across project plans and RAID log
- Change control
- Lessons Learnt Log
- Support the Change team with organisational activities, including scheduling and coordinating team meetings
- Support the delivery of Governance Forum pack(s) and writing of minutes as required
- For each project, ensure that the required documents are provided by relevant stakeholders and that they are of suitable detail, quality and approval
- Maintenance of the bank’s change programme collateral, including project scope documents, risk registers, status updates and central Lessons Learnt log
- Manage and deliver smaller projects and workstreams
- Adhere to all Group policies and procedures, standards and regulations

**Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role**:

- Top tier banking PMO management experience (3-5 years in banks)
- Programme portfolio management experience
- End-to-end portfolio PMO experience across all relevant disciplines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement experience
- Project Governance: Support the project teams by owning and updating regular sponsor packs, tracking actions and updates, keeping on top of governance milestones (eg RAID and project plans) and ensuring that all project documentation is up to date and consistent
- People & Capability: Resource management including tracking joiners, leavers and future demand, ensuring compliance activities are completed in a timely fashion and keeping all people data up to date.
