**Full time Geography Teacher required in Mill Hill** **Starting ASAP**

The position starts immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.

This is an opportunity to work within a secondary school, located in Barnet you will have access to a range of transport links and a well-resourced setting.

The **Humanities**department require a **Geography Teacher**with a BA in Geography and QTS. The **Humanities**department is made up of 8 - 10 staff all bringing different levels of expertise.

The department is well resourced, teachers enjoy working there and students enjoy learning there. This department are a supportive team and provide a varied and engaging curriculum, the department plan together and deliver engaging lessons. You will needto be familiar with teaching students GCSE Geography Edexcel Pearson demanding analytical, evaluative and investigative approach from its students. Geography is taught at Key Stage 5 BTEC and students recognise that teachers care about what they teach andin return teachers attitudes are positive to learning.

The behaviour is good and teachers have high expectations and these are often met by pupils.
