**The Home**

Longfield Care Home is situated in Eglington. Nursing home with maximum of 35 Service Users. Categories of care: - old age not falling within any other category, Physical disability other than sensory impairment, Physical disability other than sensory impairment - over 65 years.

**The Role**

To provide high-quality person-centred care to the residents of the home, supporting with their everyday needs and contributing to their enjoyment of life.

**Main Responsibilities**

Assist qualified staff with care plans, tasks and activities to support the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

Participate in activities, motivating and supporting residents to get involved

Assist residents with eating, drinking, washing, dressing and going to the toilet

Assess and observe the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents, recognising changes and reporting as necessary in a timely manner

Maintain accurate records, communicating effectively with residents and their families

**You will need**:
To be a good listener, showing patience, compassion, empathy and understanding

A good standard of written and oral English

Experience in Health and Social Care not required as full training will be provided

Be NISCC registered or eligible to register
