Due to rapid growth we are looking for care assistants to join our Derry team to work closely with our service users to ensure the successful delivery of care and support service across Derry.
**About the Role**
Both full-time and part-time hours are available, from 20 to 45 hours, including evenings and weekends. Night shifts are also available.

**About The Role**
**The role of the Care Assistant includes**:
- ** Personal Care** - Providing personal care to service users in their own homes
- ** Companionship** - Providing companionship for service users in their homes
- ** Support** - Support with day to day activities e.g. Shopping, cooking, laundry
- ** Medication** - Ensuring that service users are prompted to take scheduled medication
- ** Record Keeping** - Full and accurate record keeping at all times
**Required Criteria**
- A full driving license and access to own car
- A caring attitude & strong communication skills A positive attitude and disciplined approach to work

**Companionship**: This service can be provided in clients' homes or other settings and involves care assistants offering company and emotional support.
