Are you an organised and dedicated administrative professional looking to support the smooth operation of a care home within the West Berkshire Council? We are seeking a Care Home Administrative Officer to provide essential administrative support to the Registered Manager and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care services.

**Role and Responsibilities**

As the Care Home Administrative Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing administrative support to the Registered Manager, including diary management, correspondence, and report preparation.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handling enquiries from residents, families, and external stakeholders, providing appropriate information and support.
- Coordinating meetings and taking minutes as required.
- Assisting with the processing of invoices and maintaining financial records.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the care home through general administrative tasks.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a care or health-related environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently, using initiative, as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with care standards and regulations would be advantageous.
