We are looking to hire an energetic and dynamic individual to assist our orders and fabric team in our buzzy open plan space. This will be a great role to grow in to with a well established company with room to grow your career in-house.
**Skills Required**:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Be super organised, with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Be confident and logical with your approach to ‘general IT’ and a fast learner
- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well both independently and within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have previous experience using MS Word/Excel - Magento preferable
- Be versatile. A big part of our ‘team’ is the willingness to help one another even though it may fall outside of the job description
- Have a positive attitude. This is an open-plan office. We like a bit of banter, music, and nice food
- Processing orders placed by customers and/or the sales team with the relevant suppliers.
- Following up with UK based and international suppliers
- Updating other teams about any delays or problems with the suppliers/orders
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Updating customers with lead times
- Liaising with manufacturers for handmade orders, chasing and updating teams
- Putting through protection plans for handmade orders
- Working closely alongside the sales and customer services team
- Ordering, cutting and labelling of fabric samples, maintaining stock levels
- Ordering fabric from fabric suppliers for handmade orders
- Sending fabric samples out to the post office daily
- Able to take initiative and adapt their approach to different tasks
- Dealing with any other tasks as set by the Managers and Directors
- Being a team player across the business and providing back-up where needed in other departments when busy (i.e. taking a sales call, assisting customer services, receiving a delivery, making a hot drink for a customer in the showroom.
