Rapid Rehousing Worker

Positive Employment is currently recruiting a Rapid Rehousing Worker for our client based in Enfield.

**Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Deliver proactive support to applicants and their households to rapidly move-on into PRS or other housing
- Provide high quality and comprehensive assessments and resettlement plans to the service users that will empower them to plan, work towards and achieve rapid rapidly move-on into PRS or other housing.
- Collaborate with Specialist Coordinators and Housing Coordinators to develop and deliver service user’s Personal Housing Plans.
- Manage a caseload and ensure all aspects of support work is carried out in accordance with legislation, safeguarding, policies and procedures.
- Will collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for applicants with multiple and complex support
- Ensure all service users’ documentation is relevant and update and that data is accurately entered into the various IT systems
- Contribute to efficient service delivery as an individual and as part of a team, in accordance with local policies procedures and legislation (including shift work where required).

**Personal Requirements**:

- Ability to assess, design, plan, implement Sustainable Housing Support Plans.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative whilst remaining accountable to line management
- Experience of providing housing support to in emergency and temporary accommodation to rapidly move-on into PRS or other housing.
- Experience of providing housing support services to people who have experienced homelessness.
- Good knowledge of welfare, housing and homelessness policy, strategies, legislation, and case law, and its implementation within a statutory homelessness service.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Social Care and Equality policy and strategies.
- Basic or enhanced DBS certificate
- 3 years references.
- **Working Hours**:09_:00am - 17:00pm, Monday - Friday_

**Pay: £21.86 p/h Umbrella
