Our client a leading Packaging company in the **Co. Armagh** area are looking to expand their team. An opportunity is available for an experienced **Stock Controller **to join their fast paced, energetic team based in their distribution office. In this challenging role you will be working with the busy warehousing and distribution team and will be solely responsible for managing day to day administrative tasks associated with sales order management and stock control.

Some of the duties will include:

- Controlling the deployment of sales orders and stock control function, ensuring the maintenance of accurate records.
- Completing all sales order processing tasks
- Buying and negotiating prices
- Analyse data to help improve efference and cost reduction
- Monitor and maintain all order management tasks on SAGE
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy
- Manage and control inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks
- Ensure incoming products are receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
- Raising shipping paperwork and liaising with the shipping companies to arrange the exportation of customer orders and the importation of purchased goods.
- Ensuring efficient utilisation of warehouse space ensuring stock is stored efficiently.
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
- Responsible for recording and maintaining KPI records for all areas of the company’s distribution functionality.
- Supplying status reports for weekly stock meeting.
- Ensuring lot control is being enforced for traceability and reporting on any variances.

What you will be required to have:

- Previous experience of overseeing stock control 5yrs ideally
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, guidance and good practice.
- Knowledge of the Packaging Industry or similar
- Experience using CRM systems and familiar with Sage
- Strong IT Skills including using Microsoft packages Office and Excel
- Good level of written and verbal English and Maths
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Have a good telephone manner

Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm

Salary range depending on experience £30-35k

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
