**Buyer/Planner**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Negotiating with suppliers regarding availability of parts and materials
- Attend production meetings and provide updates on any purchasing issues
- Setting up minimum and maximum stock levels which matches requirements of the business
- Generate purchase orders for desired products
- Provide accurate stock reports for stores team
- Monitor company stock levels and adjust accordingly to the needs of the business
- Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
- Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Prioritising production schedule to customer orders
- A minimum 2 (+) years experience in a purchasing role
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Proven experience in buying / planning
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in working with a MRP system
