Sainsburys Bank - Assistant Company Secretary

You will work closely with the Company Secretary, providing assistance in managing board and committee meetings, maintaining records, and contributing to the Bank's corporate governance framework. What you'll do

You will be supporting the Company Secretary to ensure efficient governance of Sainsbury's Bank. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance, providing proactive and effective Company Secretarial support to the Bank's Board, Board Sub-Committees, and Executive Committees. This will involve creating, documenting, and maintaining accurate records of papers, presentations, and decisions taken at key Governance committees, arranging Board and Committee meetings, and deputising for the Company Secretary when necessary. You will also contribute to the improvement and streamlining of the Bank's Corporate Governance framework, maintain regulatory and statutory records, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth organisation of key Governance committees. Additionally, you will stay updated with Corporate Governance best practices, manage the Bank's relationship with external service providers, and demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Your attention to detail, ability to manage and prioritise workload, and professional approach will contribute to your success in this role.
