**Personal Tax Trainee - Weybridge**

An opportunity has now arisen for a Personal Tax Trainee to work within our Weybridge office.

The role of the Personal Tax Trainee is to support the Tax Department and gain experience whilst studying towards the ATT qualification.

The role will include both general tax compliance work as well as taking on the responsibility of processing self assessment tax returns from within a portfolio of clients.

Assistant to the Tax Director and direct line Tax Manager.

**Duties will include -**
- Processing self assessment tax returns
- Overseeing ad hoc administrative duties within the department
- Undertaking general tax compliance work
- Assisting senior members of the team
- Liaising with clients
- Communicating with HMRC on various client matters

**To be considered for this opportunity you must have**:

- A keen interest in the accountancy & tax sector
- Excellent communication and numeric skills
- Experience in working within an office environment (preferably)
- A good proactive attitude towards learning new skills and be able to organise and monitor workload effectively

As a Tax Trainee, you will have a good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. Good organisational skills, problem solving and communication skills are also important, as is a motivated and proactive approach.
