**Role**: Groundworker
**Location**: Preston, UK

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out various groundworks tasks including drainage, excavation, and concreting.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling surfaces.
- Install drainage systems, manholes, and other underground structures.
- Operate machinery such as excavators, dumpers, and rollers as required.
- Work closely with other tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure project deadlines are met.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Groundworker in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in a range of groundworks tasks including drainage, excavation, and concreting.
- Valid CSCS card and machine experience preferred but not essential.
- Ability to operate construction machinery safely and effectively.
- Health and safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
