We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a **Sales Advisor at Jewson in Wellingborough** This role will see you working alongside our customers as well as the local council, ensuring all their requirements are met so that they caneffectively support the local community.

**What will I be doing?**

Our Sales Advisors are important contributors to the team's shared success, and an essential part of our Customer's positive experience with us. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will;
- Act as the primary contact for our designated council account, along with any other customers visiting the branch, ensuring they receive excellent service at all times.
- Understand the customer's needs, to ensure long-term customer growth and excellent working relationships
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Review and complete purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Manage stock for customers, including sourcing, packing and tracking items for delivery
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timescales
- Resolve or escalate Supplier and Customer queries

**This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday; 7:30am to 5:00pm, plus every other Saturday; 8:00am to 12:00pm.**

**Is the role right for me?**
- Previous experience in a merchanting environment is important to this role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A proactive approach to sales and customer service
- A great eye for detail
- Have an organised and methodical approach to tasks
- Administration and IT skills
