Approach Personnel are recruiting for a Maintenance Groundsperson in Leicester, LE3

Great opportunity. Immediate start.

£23,500 - 25,000 per annum ( depending on experience )

Hours - Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week

**Duties**:

- It will be the Maintenance Co-Ordinators responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the maintenance programme for the building including liaison with developers at completion, the contractor, for the building.
- Maintaining the aesthetics of the building and ensuring a tidy and well-presented property including litter collection and grass cutting.
- Maintenance of the podium paved areas and steps leading to the car park ensuring they are clean, tidy and hazard free.
- Liaising with the concierge for refuse removal and collecting the bins after they have been emptied.
- Conducting small electrical repairs within the UK regulations.
- Finding and solving any leaks from faulty plumbing and reporting failures of any white goods to the manufacturer and organising engineer visits.
- Continued decoration of the site and corridors and co-ordinating outsourced contractors should demand require.
- Assessing the health and safety requirements of the in-house repairs and ensuring they are completed safely.
- Outdoor cleaning of paths, plants and podium
- Jet wash the outside area and car park
- Litter picking of the site, keeping the site to a high standard
- Over winter the groundsman will move indoors to tend to the communal areas ie carpet cleaning, painting, general maintenance
- Previous experience
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Be able to provide two working references
- Work well as part of a team and use own initiative
