**My job**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe, Dungannon, supporting and driving the site in Health, Safety and Environmental performance. This is a development and support role within the Fresh Poultry Business Unit and will directly report into the facility HSE Manager, advising and coaching on health, safety and environmental practices, compliance and governance.

Accountabilities:

- Provide guidance, support and advice across all site functions and empower front line managers to ensure ‘Safety is a Condition’ within the facility, through safe working practices, equipment, and facilities.
- Communicate effectively with key internal & external stakeholders on risks, issues and key changes required in reference to HSE standards, legal compliance, systems implementations, security provision etc.
- Complete regular inspections of the facility on a periodic basis, respond to requests for support, and support the HSE function on both internal and external audit programs. (ISO 45001, 14001, Insurance Inspections etc.)
- Support and educate on areas of risk with regards to the facility.
- Support the Go For Zero Strategy with Central HSE function

You will have a passion for HSE, be focussed and results driven with strong communication skills and a team player.
