**Job Purpose**

Park House Hotel is an award winning, luxury Spa hotel set in rural West Sussex.

The hotel grounds boast a 6-hole Par 3 Golf Course, 2 lawn Tennis Courts, Bowls lawns and a Croquet lawn complimented by beautiful herbaceous beds and borders, kitchen garden and greenhouse. Pride of Britain member, Good Hotel Guide & Good Spa Guide. Independently owned for three generations & with a genuine care for all our guests & staff alike. You will have to be enthusiastic, happy at work & willing to exceed our guest expectations. Working within a small team being part of a young, friendly & ambitious team where each of us makes a difference.

We are looking to recruit a Gardener to assist the existing small team in the day to day upkeep of the grounds based on a 40-hour week. Weekend work for the setting up of sports turf surfaces may be required throughout the growing season on a Rota basis.

**Responsibilities & key outputs**
- Greenhouse and propagation of plants knowledge
- Pruning of fruit trees and other fruits
- Knowledge of herb gardens
- An understanding of seasonal horticultural practices
- Competent in the use and safe operation of machinery
