An opportunity has arisen to join Antenatal & Gynaecology Outpatient Department at Wycombe General Hospital as a Receptionist/Booking team member.

The post will suit a well organised, hard working, efficient and enthusiastic person, who will be responsible for the running of the appointment booking system, answering telephone enquiries and liaising with clinical staff at all levels. There will be other administrative duties related to the service.
- Arrange all Obstetric and Specialist Gynaecology clinics, ultrasound appointments, using the CareFlow, Soliton and eRS systems. Ensure all NHS targets and Government waiting list deadlines are met and inform the line manager if the deadlines cannot be achieved.
- Work closely with the midwifery/nursing staff to ensure the smooth running of all outpatient clinics held in the Antenatal & Gynae Clinic area at Wycombe General Hospital.
- Register, collate and enter onto the computer system all patient held records as well as collecting and filing of all in-patient books.
- Gather, input and amend data on the CareFlow system including registering new patients.
- Answer the telephone and deal with enquiries as appropriate within a reasonable timescale.
