We are currently recruiting for a QC Inspector to support our QHSE team at our office in Dyce, Aberdeen.

**Job Purpose and Scope**

Providing QC support for maintenance of wellheads and associated equipment and ensure that the required standards are adhered to during the assembly and testing of these products. Also, inspect goods prior to despatch and on receipt from third party vendors to ensure compliance with Engineering specifications.

**Main Responsibilities**

To carry out this role successfully you must be able to carry out the following duties:

- Ensure that all equipment is inspected in accordance with Plexus Technical Specifications, Engineering Drawings, Product Specifications and/or Purchase Order requirements.
- Ensure that all supporting documentation is verified in accordance with Plexus Technical Specifications, Engineering Drawings, Products Specifications and Purchase Order requirements.
- Record inspection results in sufficient detail to enable re-work instructions or disposition decisions to be made.
- Create minor repair scope of work instructions, together with supporting documentation.
- Ensure all documentation and records are processed and maintained as per Plexus procedures.
- Witness the validation pressure testing of equipment in accordance with Engineering Drawings and Test Specifications.
- Document nonconformities and support investigations, the identification of root cause and the corrective and preventative action processes.
- Comply with Plexus quality, safety, environmental management systems and procedures to ensure all duties are executed in a safe manner minimising harm to the environment.

**Person Specification**

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities that the successful applicant must have and be able to demonstrate:

- NVQ Quality Control or equivalent.
- HNC/HND in engineering discipline advantageous
- Minimum 3 years proven practical experience using measuring equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- Current NDT certification would be advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Team Player
- Pro-active
- Computer Literate
- Safety Conscious
- Ability to cope under pressure and priorities workload
- Flexible
