We are a small chain of family run children's nurseries and we are looking for a Room Leader to join our busy nursery based in Canada Water, London.

The role of the Room Leader is critical to the success of the nursery and in return for hard work and commitment we can offer a highly competitive salary, training, support and a chance to progress your career with the company.

The expectations of our Room Leaders are high as we want to provide our children with high standards of care. You will be expected to carry out the following duties:

- Leading your team to provide exceptional care to the children in your room.
- Plan activities for key children in line with the EYFS and also help and support your team in ensuring the activities they plan are relevant and exciting.
- Build strong relationships with parents and be the first point of contact for them.
- Ensuring the staff are adhering to policies and procedures at all times.
- Role model positive practice ensuring high standards are achieved at all times.
- Ensure daily routines are adhered too and accurate records are kept.
- Oversee an effective key worker system.
- Plan shifts/lunch breaks for your team.
- Attend weekly Room Leader meetings with your peers.

You should hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent and would ideally have some experience as a Room leader in a busy nursery.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
