**3. Security Screening**: Performing security screenings of cargo, luggage, and personal belongings to detect prohibited items, dangerous substances, or security threats. This may involve the use of X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment.

**4. Emergency Response**: Being prepared to respond quickly and effectively to security threats, emergencies, or incidents such as theft, vandalism, trespassing, unauthorized access, or natural disasters. This includes coordinating with local law enforcement, emergency services, and port authorities to ensure a timely and appropriate response.
