**Night Support Worker**

Cristal Care are currently recruiting for a Night Support Worker to be based at our care providing service in Langold.

**SHIFT: 9.30pm to 7.30am**

The individuals we support are at the heart of what we do, we provide enabling support to people with learning disabilities and autism to promote their dignity, individuality, inclusion and to help people to fulfil their potential in life.

**Key duties**:

- Providing one to one support to individuals to support them into a night routine
- Communicating with colleagues to co-ordinate support and update plans.
- Developing and sustaining a positive working relationship with individuals that you support.
- Recording and documenting in support and health files.
- Individuals may wish to participate in activities at night and it is important to ensure that individuals are participating in person centred activities, based on an individuals wants and needs. This could include trips to the local pub etc.
- Ensuring that personal care needs are met.

**Desirable skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
- Good documentation skills
- Experience supporting/caring for others, especially those with a learning disability which could be experience through employment, voluntary work or family experience.
- Health and social care level 2 or 3 is desirable but not essential as we do offer training and recognised qualifications.
- For those wishing to embark on a career within care and don’t feel you have experience, we do offer a comprehensive training package and on the job mentoring from a skilled and experienced team.
