This role is an integral part of the EMEA Consumer organization supports the EMEA Consumer DFO, EMEA Consumer Lines President, and Consumer Product Managers and works closely with Country Finance Managers (CFMs) to achieve the company strategic goals. The Consumer Lines Segment includes A&H (consumer: affinity, travel and direct marketing) and Specialty Personal Lines(SPL) business. This role covers 12 clusters and 24 countries across CE MENA and UKISA and will report directly to the EMEA Consumer DFO.

**The responsibilities for the role will include**:
Support EMEA Consumer Finance transformation on aligning the processes and reporting across SPL and A&H Consumer.
- Review and redesign SPL and A&H Consumer production forecasting process considering customised approach for more complex schemes vs smaller schemes.
- Work with the Business Intelligence(BI) teams to provide training to the local country teams to understand and own the process for smaller schemes
- Working with BI teams as well as Country Consumer Leads and CFM’s to ensure we have detailed views of production at an account level where these could be pulled through automated reports/dashboards.
- Support EMEA Consumer DFO on global premium roll forward and reporting of key KPIs initiative.

Build and maintain process for Expenses:

- Direct Expenses Review (Staff Costs and ODC) and Review of allocations by department to ensure accurate expenses are reported at a country and product level.
- Support EMEA Consumer DFO on tracking expense savings initiatives and continuous look for further potential savings including partnering with support functions DFOs.
- Align the timetables across EMEA Region for Actuals, Forecast, Strat Plan and Plan reporting and build timelines and tasks covering country, regional and global submissions.
- Monitoring, review, and analysis of Direct Consumer Expenses, analysing and reconciling Headcount, monthly review of ODC at a country and account level.
- Booking of accruals each month as reviewed and guided by the EMEA Consumer DFO.

Support EMEA Consumer COO working with IT DFO on the delivery of digital enhancements for the delivery of key accounts in the pipeline.

Drive leadership and Insight for the Digital Business through:

- Ensuring financials for digital are recorded accurately in finance systems
- Embedding digital into our processes and reporting for Actuals, Forecast, Plan and Strat Plan so that digital splits become part of our usual reporting.
- Analysis of digital P&L for Global Digital reporting for NWP, NEP, Acquisition Costs, Losses and Expenses
- Working with IT DFO to ensure digital IT Plan is allocated to the relevant projects in the implementation pipeline with scrutiny around keeping the spend in line with the annual plan

Support efforts in developing key data mining capabilities, including the development of reporting platforms (such as TM1 or QlikView).

Finance Operational activities: Responsible for oversight of the operational activities underpinning the accuracy of the forecasts, Annual planning process and monthly/quarterly actuals. This includes oversight of the reconciliation of financial data (Production, Commissions and Expenses) and variance reporting

**Require Skills and Experience**:

- Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- 8 years of working experience in Finance in the insurance sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
- Excellent spreadsheet business presentational skills.
- Good communication skills driven by regular interaction with the business and senior management.
- Team player - larger EMEA Finance team.
- Language skills - English, other CE language/s an advantage.
- Some travel involved.
