**Komi Group are looking for Social Editor**

Location: Manchester (Hybrid role)

Our creative, media and social agency, specialises in community management, social strategy and media amplification. We’ve grown and manage some of the UK’s biggest media brands and our team is jam-packed with the expertise to do for other brands too. Our commercial team is there to connect that great work with brands, agencies, and organisations of all sizes.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Delivering high quality video outputs with precision and within tight deadlines
- Pro-actively seeking out the latest and greatest internet videos, ahead of our competitors
- Contacting copyright holders and obtaining permissions to use content clips for own channels
- Building positive, long-term relationships with external creators
- Interpreting social media insights and using that data to seek out the best content for our pages
- Adhering to Komi brand guidelines when seeking content, ensuring all content is aligns to our tone of voice whilst also remaining compliant with social media community guidelines
- Proactively bringing new content ideas within the team environment whilst also sharing knowledge and contributing to ongoing strategy improvements

**What you’ll need to have done before**
- Experience in a similar role within a social media publisher and/or online video space
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, content creation and what makes a viral video
- Strong knowledge of a spectrum of social media platforms, especially Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
- Strong ability to spot stories, creators, and clips that our audience will love to watch
- Strong understanding of social media law and platform policies, especially Facebook.
- Strong awareness and understanding of our competitor market
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to think logically, while remaining agile to move quickly
- An attention to detail in dealing with all matters and a flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Knowledge of the company's brand and overall style
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Proficient video editing skills with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential
- Strong knowledge of the remainder of the Adobe suite is a bonus, but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
