We are looking to recruit a Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) to be part of the centralised AMHP Service within Waltham Forest. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffinglevels.London Borough of Waltham Forest will pay close attention to looking after their Social Workers and strive to ensure they feel supported and welcomed in their roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable working environment with experiencedleadership, whilst receiving regular supervision and training opportunities. The responsibilities of the Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) includes:Undertaking the full legal range of social care assessments and developing person-led support plansto meet the needs and outcomes of individuals.To be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality and legally compliant social care practice to agreed standards for the staff within the remit of the post.To maximise the independence and wellbeing ofadults and older people.Supervising social care assistants. To ideal candidate will have:Social Work England registrationEligibility to work in the UKSocial Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)AMHP Qualification Working with Ackerman Pierce you will beguaranteed weekly payment and access to continued profession development, including a dedicated consultant to support you through the interview and on boarding process.
