Applications are welcome for a full-time fixed term post of 12 months, as an Advanced and Robotic Colorectal Surgery Fellow to work on the Chelsea site at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.

**Start Date**: ASAP

They will gain experience in performing standard colorectal resection and beyond TME surgery under consultant supervision.

They are actively involved in the day-to-day care of patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Under the supervision of consultants, they will attend outpatient clinics. They will also attend and actively participate in weekly MDT meetings.

They will also gain experience in the multi-disciplinary management of patients from other cancer groups who requires elective and urgent colorectal surgical input.

For those who desire, there will be opportunities to train in lower GI endoscopy from JAG accredited trainers.

They will be allowed to develop their area of interest. Fellows will also have the opportunity to work with other faculty members in the Department of Colorectal Surgery. These include but are not limited to roles in clinical research, management, and education. There is also an expectation that the post holder participate in discussions with the Consultant group about performance, clinical system improvements, patient safety, education and training as well as day to day management issues.
