Under a landmark partnering programme with the Ministry of Defence, we supply and maintain three fleets of aircraft to deliver Elementary and Multi-Engine Flying Training within the UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS). Through technical advancement and commercial innovation, we deliver safe, airworthy aircraft to match the training needs of the next generation on the frontline.

We are currently looking for a full time Company & Operations Administrator a to join our team at RAF Cranwell on a fixed-term contract to cover a maternity period. This is an interesting and varied role supporting the business by welcoming all guests in a positive and professional manner, providing administrative support and coordinating security matters. You will possess a desire to contribute to the success and growth of our business.

As part of your normal duties and responsibilities, you will be:
**Reception & Security**
- Management of reception/visitor area at our Cranwell site using InVentry system
- Liaising with visitors and booking in at the Main Guardroom, RAF Cranwell
- Being main point of contact for all colleagues, contractors and customers
- Creating ID badges
- Point of contact for RAF Cranwell Main Guardroom Passes & Permits and Vetting - assisting with security clearance forms and administration

**Administration**
- Providing all-round support with a wide range of office-based administration duties
- Point of contact for stationery and tea/coffee ration orders and liaising with Procurement department to order supplies
- Liaising with Finance department for weekly/monthly reconciliation of Courier Airway Bills
- Assisting the Communications department with corporate events including venues and catering
- Assisting with training courses
- General support for HR and Communications department
- Sorting and distributing of company post
- Arranging seminars for colleagues including payment and transport requirements
- Collating and filing monthly corporate credit card expenses

**Travel**
- Organising extensive travel arrangements across the wider organisation (domestic and international), and using the corporate credit card when required
- Sourcing flights, car hire, accommodation, train & taxi bookings as necessary
- Ensuring Travel Authorisation Forms are completed in line with company policy
- Maintaining a travel log for liaising with Finance department

We are looking for a dynamic HR Assistant with a generalist background reporting into the HR Business Partner. This role is responsible for the smooth and efficient delivery of HR advice and support, as well as supporting the sites administrative needs by providing front of house coverage.

As part of your normal duties, you will:

- Own the full recruitment cycle for our RAF Cranwell team, including gaining sign off, advertising, shortlisting, supporting and arranging interviews and the offer process
- Facilitate Company inductions to provide an excellent start to new colleagues’ journey with Affinity
- Employee record administration, ensuring accuracy and up to date files are maintained
- First point of contact for day-to-day HR and pay queries, providing generalist advise in line with legislation and Affinity policies
- Supporting the HR inbox including processing, answering employee questions and fixing processing errors
- Supporting in the creation of monthly HR reporting relating to personnel activities (staffing, turnover, recruitment, absence, training, etc.)
- Supporting the creation and delivery of monthly payroll activities
- Compile and update employee records
- Administration of the HR Management System
- Minute taking
- Providing support and cover to the wider HR Team as required
- Accomplishing any other duties as may be reasonably requested
