Working as a Parts and Inventory Supply Chain Planner you will work within a world-class Materials team, responsible for parts availability, supplier delivery reliability and managing stock levels at six company Parts Distribution Centres (PDCs) in Leyland,Eindhoven, Budapest, Madrid, Moscow and Panama. As a Parts and Inventory Supply Chain Planner you will be part of a global leader in the distribution, sales and marketing of aftermarket parts for heavy and medium-duty trucks, trailers, buses, and engines. Featuring state-of-the-art distribution processes,award-winning sales and marketing programs and industry-leading quality management. **APPLY TODAY** If this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review. **DUTIES** Your duties as a Parts and Inventory Supply Planner will include: - Manage the material flow for 40 to 60 suppliers with a combined annual spend > £20 million - Multi warehouse planning: optimise parts availability and stock levels in PDC’s Eindhoven, Leyland, Budapest, Madrid, Moscow and Panama - Review, adjust and release of orders through material planning systems JDA and EPS - Monitor and coordinate orders and forecasts with suppliers and expedite deliveries to prevent material shortages - Analyse supplier performance and implement continuous improvement actions - Initiate and work on Supplier Improvement projects as well as Supply Chain projects - Cooperate with other departments including: Purchasing, Marketing and Sales and Operational Logistics Departments **CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS** - Knowledge of basic logistic principles and techniques - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential - Adept at data analysis and be able to interpret results - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment - Previous experience as an Inventory or Demand Planner or similar position - Bachelor’s degree logistics, supply chain management, business or similar discipline. - Six Sigma trained is desirable **COMPANY BENEFITS** - 37 hour working week - 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays - Defined contribution Master Trust pension arrangement, provided by Aviva - Medical Scheme, including dental, optical and outpatient provision - Professional development is encouraged and supported, such as education programs and (online) training courses **HOW TO APPLY** JOB REF: AWDO-P8202 Full-Time, Permanent Jobs, Careers and Vacancies.
