As a **Scientific Administrator** in the life sciences department, you will provide essential administrative support to our scientific staff, ensuring efficient project coordination, documentation, and regulatory compliance. You will be a key point of contact for laboratory staff, and external partners, playing a pivotal role in facilitating the day-to-day operations of our research environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Administrative Support**: Provide general administrative assistance to the research and development team, including managing correspondence, and maintaining project timelines.
- ** Document Management**: Organise, maintain, and update scientific documentation, including research reports, project proposals, regulatory submissions, and study data.
- ** Data Entry and Record Keeping**: Accurately input and manage scientific data, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
- ** Project Coordination**: Assist with the planning and coordination of scientific projects, including tracking progress, managing project schedules, and ensuring key milestones are met.
**Qualifications**
- High level word processing and computing skills, with effective knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel
- Competent literacy skills, high standard of written English
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure, to tight timelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
