**Purchase Ledger Assistant**
**- Alfreton - £22,000-£24,000**

**Purchase Ledger Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Enter invoices into the purchase ledger
- Obtain approval for invoices in line with the company policy
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- Deal with any purchase ledger enquiries from internal and external parties
- Process staff expenses in accordance with the company procedures
- Make an active contribution to the improvement the existing structures

**What we’re looking for
- Experience of working within a purchase ledger role and experience of processing high invoice numbers
- Computer literate with familiarity with ERP systems and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in high pressured situations
- Diligent with a good attention to detail
- Strong team working skills
- The ability to prioritise and order tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Knowledge and experience of 3 way matching within a similar role

**Hours**:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday
