Warehouse Operations Manager

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join the team at our Spalding depot.

As a **Warehouse Operations Manager**, you will take a proactive approach to leading the warehouse team to ensure successful delivery of KPI’s and business requirements and ensure effective systems are in place to maintain optimum service levels.Working with the management team, you will use your previous experience in managing the performance of a team to identify areas of development for all colleagues, ensuring that they are able and motivated to support the operation.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Effective performance management of team to ensure that targets are met and to ensure that the warehouse operational team are motivated and have the relevant skills, knowledge and attitude to contribute effectively to maximise accuracy and productivity.
- Management of people, ensuring that team issues are resolved effectively, and decisions are consistent and in line with Company policy promoting a positive work culture.
- Overall responsibility for training for use of equipment of MHE and operating equipment for all employees and record keeping.
- Overseeing management of the warehouse pick and operation functions, ensuring SLA’s and KPI’s are met and costs are controlled.
- Working closely with site management team to ensure that any issues are dealt with efficiently and service levels are maintained.
- Supporting the claims process by leading investigations and ensuring processes are followed quickly and efficiently until closure.
- Ensuring productivity and activity is measured in line with budgetary labour costs.
- Responsible for ensuring that H&S procedures are adhered to at all times including visitors and contractors.
- Playing a major role in on and off site meetings with internal and external customers to ensure business requirements are met.
- Responsibility for BRC requirements / internal quality standards of the site and ensure the operation adheres to the demands of this.
- Ensuring that daily handover reports and warehouse management reports are completed.
- Producing, analysing and providing feedback on daily, weekly and monthly reports relating to performance and finance suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Responsibility to identify, promote, support and implement continuous improvement programs
- Overseeing the implementation of new business in line with customer requirements.

**Qualifications**

To join us as a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will need:

- Operational management gained within FMCG industry/Warehouse environment
- People Management Experience
- Driving licence
