Service Desk Transition Engineer (Contract, Hybrid)
CPS Group UK are delighted to be seeking a Service/Knowledge Transition Engineer to join a leading Enterprise organisation in the Midlands area. The Service Transition Engineer will support new customer on-boarding processes, being responsible for ensuringthat new knowledge is captured and documented in a standardised way and that Engineers supporting the customer are briefed and ready to support the customer environment.
Role Responsibilities
*Planning and preparing for knowledge transfer sessions
*Capturing and documenting customer knowledge during the knowledge transfer process
*Attending customer and incumbent supplier sites to complete the knowledge transfer.
*Transferring captured knowledge into new or existing service desk team members.
*Managing and Updating the customer knowledge base.
*Supporting the Engineers during the early go live days.
*Fulfilling the role of a service desk engineer to support the transition where required.
*Supporting the Transition team where required.
*Providing regular status updates and reporting.
Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge
*Strong working knowledge of Service Desk technologies (e.g. MS Office, Antivirus)
*Experience in soliciting, documenting and manging knowledge
*Experience in a similar knowledge transfer or transition role
*Excellent customer service skills
*Capable of working under pressure
*Ability to communicate with and manage stakeholder expectations at senior level
*Previous experience working on the service desk (or equivalent technical experience)
