Job Summary:
We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a combination of technical skills and strong attention to detail.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing equipment and fixtures
- Assist with the installation and repair of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for facility maintenance
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Familiarity with logic controllers and ability to read schematics
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to weld or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively
- Customer service-oriented approach when interacting with internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
