What you’ll be doing
Hodder Education is looking for an Editorial Project Co-ordinator to work on textbooks, workbooks and digital materials for primary and secondary markets.
- Ensure that milestone dates on allocated projects are met, liaising with other key team members
- Ensure projects conform to the agreed quality standards
- Control and monitor spending against project budget
- Select, brief and monitor performance of freelancers
- Proofread cover copy and check cover briefs supplied; brief text designs for existing designs
- Prepare picture research and illustration briefs; check artworks; make or approve photo selections
- Hand over final edited manuscript, briefs and images to typesetter
- Check and circulate proofs
- Create, edit and manage digital content. Upload assets, including audio, video and eBook files
- Clear copyright permissions
