Goldhawk Associates are working with a medium-sized, established, and growing firm of accountants, in North Kent who are looking to appoint a Tax Director - Private Client to their team. They are looking for someone to join their team at a senior leveldue to the nature of the role and the experience of the current team. This role would suit a qualified tax advisor with previous management experience and will be focused on supporting the Private Client team to provide key client services.
It will be a challenging opportunity to work with a varied portfolio of private clients, partnerships, trusts, and estates. You will support the Partners by assisting in the provision of tax compliance and advisory services and promoting the firm and its servicesto the best of your ability. You will support managing the private client team and overseeing all compliance matters with the primary focus of the role is to deliver tax advice to clients.
You will help manage the department's self-assessment compliance cycle. Make sure that work is serviced, delivered, and managed effectively. You will review tax compliance work which is produced by more junior members of the team, identifying tax planning opportunitiesand concerns and resolving areas requiring further consideration.
You will:
Provide advisory services and support to their client base
Provide comprehensive advice and tax planning for clients
Supporting Partners: networking, engaging with potential clients, marketing and training
Managing the team and process to deliver all compliance matters; personal and partnerships tax returns, and P11ds
Prepare and review self-assessment personal tax returns prior to submission
Capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income planning
Individual clients and trustees, planning and managing all aspects of their personal wealth, including wills and probate, onshore and offshore trusts, and tax matters.
Residence and domicile tax advise
Liaising with and dealing with HMRC Matters
Provide tax support on advisory projects.
Good report writing and communication skills are essential
This role would suit a CTA Qualified Accountant or an experienced Personal Tax Accountant who as the Tax Director you will support Partners and the team.
