**The Team**:
The Hiscox UK Change team is an established function that continues to grow and develop in line with an accelerating technology-driven change agenda. We have seen a significant investment in the annual change budget as we improve our capability and maturity. We are transitioning to an agile, value-stream based delivery model that we have proven by piloting over the past year.

**The role**:
As a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Analyst, you will support, enable and track the successful delivery of the UK change portfolio working with the UK change and IT teams

The PMO will ensure all portfolio change is effectively tracked and reported to the Head of Change and UK Leadership Team.

You will be required to identify improvements for the PMO processes, project management tool (PPMA), and the wider change delivery framework.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- ** Management Information** - Create, analyse and distribute Management Information to key stakeholders in a timely manner
- ** Portfolio Reporting** - Develop and manage effective Portfolio reporting and meeting cadence, including tracking KPIs as appropriate, to enable effective decisions/actions to be taken
- ** Governance**- Enhance and maintain governance for the delivery of the UK Portfolio
- ** Quality Management and Assurance** - Establish and manage a schedule of gate, milestone and quality reviews to ensure the required change standards are consistently delivered. Perform regular audits and health checks to ensure all deliveries are reviewed at key points and when completed
- ** Risk, Issue and Dependency Management**:

- Work with relevant Project Managers and stakeholders to identify, manage and track risks, issues and interdependencies across the UK Portfolio
- ** Promote Best Practice** - Champion and embed best practice across the project community and develop knowledge management for future projects from past projects
- ** Continuous Improvement** - Continually improve the PMO using the appropriate frameworks and methodologies, to ensure the effective delivery and oversight of the UK Change Portfolio.
- ** Project Tools** - Become a Subject Matter Expert in PPMA and act as the point of reference for any platform queries

**Our Must-Haves**:

- Educated to A Level or equivalent standard
- 3+ years proven experience in PMO
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile project management methodology
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills to build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Energy and determination to succeed in a very fast paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office user
- Passionate about change and the customer experience
- Be self-motivated, supervise own workload and produce consistent, high quality outputs
- Able to prioritise competing demands in a challenging delivery environment to ensure that work is delivered to tight timelines
- Able to remain composed in stressful situations and work under pressure
- Adaptable, personable, flexible team player with the ability to take ownership of tasks
- Ability to work at a fast pace and pick up new tasks with ease
- Proactive, conscientious, approachable and enthusiastic
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
