Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with one of our key clients to recruit for an Accounts Payable Assistant. Based in the heart of Glasgow, this is an opportunity to join a growing, family-owned company with strong values. You will be working as part of the AP Team, reporting to the AP Team Leader, where you will work in a fast-paced environment which processes over 20,000 invoices a month.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Processing a high volume of invoices
- Ensure invoices are coded correctly
- Allocating payments to invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assist with generating weekly payment runs
- Query resolution and dealing with supplier escalations
- Involvement in supporting and implementing improved processes and controls
- Experience working in high volume, fast paced environments
- Previous experience must include dealing with large volumes of transactions
- Excellent IT skills - particularly MS Excel

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:

- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:

- purchase ledger: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounts Payable: 1 year (preferred)
