We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Bank Childcare Worker** to join our team at a Children’s Residential Home in Swadlincote, DE11. This is a flexible, bank role, ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children while working flexible hours.
As a Bank Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting. You will help create a safe and nurturing environment while encouraging emotional and social development.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and support for children in the home.
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, schoolwork, and recreational activities.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional support of children in your care.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of individual care plans.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure a safe environment for all children.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a residential or care setting.
- A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to child welfare.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding guidelines is desirable.
