**Family Interventions Officer**
**Location**: Bolton
**Contract**: 12-Month Fixed Term, Full-Time (36 hours per week)
**Salary**: Grade 4 - £32,767 to £36,197 per annum
**Driving Requirement**: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business use insurance

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable families and preventing homelessness? We’re looking for a dedicated **Family Interventions Officer** to join our Family Intervention Service. This is a vital role where you’ll work directly with complex families, helping them overcome challenges and build a stable future.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Deliver tailored support packages to families at risk of homelessness.
- Conduct enhanced assessments and implement structured, outcome-focused interventions.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to develop and monitor effective support plans.
- Attend multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate records and report tenancy breaches where necessary.
- Promote safeguarding and reduce reliance on statutory services through early intervention.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience working with vulnerable families facing issues such as domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health challenges, and anti-social behaviour.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and tenancy management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to listen empathetically.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
