This role is within the Services Finance team supporting the Head of Finance in financially managing the Credit business.Credit is a key strategic focus area for the company and the business unit has significant growth aspirations. This role will business partner the Commercial team and BNP Paribas to drive business performance and deliver against agreed targets. Using your strong commercial acumen, you will independently advise and challenge the business area, communicate financial performance and use your financial and business insight to drive business outcomes.

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

- Communicating financial performance to internal and external stakeholders explaining variances to target and providing insight to enhance decision making
- Challenging business performance through reviewing and interpreting financial metrics
- Driving value through identification, development and exploitation of business opportunities
- Ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and mitigated where required with visibility provided to management in a timely manner
- Owning financial models to forecast Credit performance (e.g. budget) and gain approval from key stakeholders
- Producing business cases for investments to support business growth
- Process development to ensure that financial reporting and processes are fit for purpose, defining what good looks like and supporting the delivery of it
- Liaising with the wider Finance team to ensure alignment on financial modelling, reporting and budgeting.

You will need:

- Degree or Equivalent: business or accounting degree from a reputable university
- Recognised Accountancy Qualification ACA, CIMA or ACCA
- Relavent experience in a commercial finance position
- Experience in analysing and understanding complex data and situations to recommend the optimal solution.
- A collaborative working style, able to build relationships with stakeholders within the business.
- Engaging and versatile communication skills
