AsHead of Business Finance, you will act as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team and a trusted partner to the wider business. You’ll lead a high-performing Business Finance function, drive growth through financial insight, and champion a culture of value creation and performance excellence.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Business PartneringLead the Business Finance team and embed a strong business partnering culture.Partner with business unit (BU) leaders, providing financial insight and strategic guidance.Deliver accurate financial planning across budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.Enhance financial capability across business units.Lead monthly Business Performance Review (BPR) meetings.Translate business strategy into actionable financial plans.Lead the tracking and analysis of performance, revenue, cost, and profitability.Deliver business case analysis and commercial decision support.Maintain and improve the quality and relevance of KPIs.3. Investment & Commercial SupportAssess the financial viability of investment proposals and business cases.Collaborate with BUs and FP&A to ensure alignment with strategy.Develop robust models to support investment and business decisions.4. Reporting & InsightEnsure the accuracy and integrity of financials and KPIs.Produce and continuously improve BPR packs with actionable insights.Evolve reporting methods to drive performance-focused conversations.Present clear, concise financial reports to senior stakeholders.5. Stakeholder EngagementAct as a strategic advisor to the CFO, leadership, and BU heads.Align with FP&A and Controlling teams on budget and forecast cycles.Support non-finance leaders in managing budgets and making data-driven decisions.Communicate financial insights effectively at all levels.6.
