Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Fixed Term)

I am recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive **local primary school in Derby (DE1)** who are seeking a dedicated **Level 3 Teaching Assistant** to join their team. This is a **full-time, fixed-term role** running until the end of the current academic year, with the potential to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

**About the Role**:

- Supporting teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on small group interventions and one-to-one support.
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that support the curriculum.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Providing targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo.
- Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to the teaching team.
- Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils throughout the school day.
- A recognized Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Recent experience working in a primary school setting.
- A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A flexible, proactive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
