Specialist Implementation

Overview:
The role holder will support the technical implementation of standard chip and pin card programmes at multiple regional card vendors. Working directly and credibly with internal and external stakeholders, you will project manage the end-to-end implementation at the card vendors developing card programmes to produce a payment card to defined standards and regulations.

Working in the card enablement team you will focus on developing knowledge and ownership of EMV requirements, the processes for the creation of personalisation profiles and the management of test and certification processes.

The Role:
Working closely with the Card enablement Manager
- Scoping requirements and change requests into the card vendor
- Manage card personalisation vendor set up and implementation of standard EMV card products ensuring compliance with industry best practice and scheme mandates
- Manage governance and risk through robust project management and reporting
- Validation and testing of vendor output, including personalisation testing and certification process (CPV)
- Input to key management standards for MPMS and our Card Vendor and processor partners
- Support migration to new chip products at chip certification expiry across multiple vendors
- Building and maintaining links within the wider Mastercard Chip teams and across the industry for swift access to new technology support.

About you:

- Experience in Prepaid, or strong payments industry and financial services experience. Card vendor and EMV experience preferable but not essential
- Proven ability of deliver programmes of work with appropriate focus on quality and governance.
- Strong collaboration skills with an ability to get tasks accomplished with other internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers
- Proactive and results driven and commercially focused, Strong work ethic with a positive approach
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail with a structured and organised approach to work, with proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexible and prepared to take things on that are outside the usual scope of the role with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Self motivated and team player, collaborative approach.
- Some knowledge of EMV and payment device specifications, including: EMV,, M/Chip Advance, and MDES, and familiarisation with standard EMV test platforms, and certification processes desirable
