**What you’ll be doing**:

- You will be part of the Project Management Function, deployed to the Supply Chain, accountable for further developing and delivering a Project Planning, Monitoring and Control's regime with robust governance and challenge in place to control costs. The responsible budget is in the region of £3bn.
- The role is also responsible for discharging a Business Operations Service and as such includes responsibility for (1) engagement and communication strategy across a team of 180 supply chain professionals (2) Preparing bids and ensuring that related data and numbers are correct and can be included to the bid package (3) Supply Chain Governance (4) Business Review hierarchy and generation of associated KPI's.
- Will be part of the Supply Chain Leadership Team driving high performance and continuous improvement.
- Will lead a team of professional and managerial staff, being responsible for managing their delivery and performance and providing appraisal and support to their development.
- Will be responsible for liaison with other business functions and the Alliance to ensure the delivery of the outputs.

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Experience of working in a highly complex and challenging programmes.
- Has expert level knowledge and understanding of Project Management, Planning & Controls tools techniques and practices.
- Will have extensive knowledge of the Project Controls framework.
- Will have extensive, expert level knowledge and experience of PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and Life Cycle Management.
- Demonstration of a Leadership role driving high performance within a Hybrid working environment.
- Supply Chain experience would be beneficial but not essential.
- Has a strong ability to capture, evaluate and share best practices and drive change.
