We are looking for an **Administrator** in our Luton office to administer employment vetting checks to the required standard in relation to employment / contract requirements in a timely and effective manner**.**

As an Administrator you’ll love being empowered to make decisions and finding your own solutions to problems.

**You’ll be**:

- Completing the full vetting and DBS checks within the allocated time
- Verifying reference details by independently contracting referees to confirm correct contract details and issue the reference is requested in a timely manner
- Escalating any issues or concerns within the process in a timely manner to the HR Manager
- Answering external and internal phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Verifying and upload identity and supporting documents, ensuring only valid documents are accepted and dated within the allowed timescales
- Dealing with any other general administration tasks within the team

**You’ll have**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to work under pressure and at pace
- Judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance
- An ability to understand and implement processes, consistently and continually
- Experience to easily builds relationships with employees and line managers and confident in speaking with stakeholders at all levels
- Resilient and be able to work in an organisation that is undergoing change due to development and growth
- Attention to detail and be able to records information accurately
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time
- IT skills and previous experience of Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gateshead, NE11 0BE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
