Senior Customer Account Specialist

We have an exciting new position within our AJ Bell Youinvest (AJBYI) Customer Account Team for a Senior Customer Account Specialist. Providing the highest level of customer service, you will be speaking with our most valued customers and helping them understandall of the ways we represent value to them.

The person we are looking for is someone who is focused on good customer outcomes, and has a good sales ethic.

As of October 2021, the Customer Account Team’s primary role changed from reactionary support for all new business enquiries to proactive outreach to existing and prospective affluent customers in a bid to drive new business for the AJBYI product. The roleis predominantly sales-based and so building positive relationships with these affluent customers is imperative.

Our customers are self-directed, this isn't an advised role, the key focus is on consolidation of accounts, customer referrals and retention. A large part of the role is also speaking to affluent prospects (no cold calling).
**What you can expect to be doing day to day**:

- Building positive relationships with affluent customers
- High quality outreach to existing and prospective affluent customers in a bid to increase account consolidation and referrals
- Soft selling - The customer is at the centre of everything we do so when selling the product, ensuring it is suitable for the investment needs
- Managing leads effectively through using/maintaining your own CRM Tracker
- Working alongside a team of five hungry individuals to identify new affluent opportunities and achieve the team target
- Achieve your individual Assets Under Administration (AUA) target through proactive outreach to existing and prospective affluent customers
- Create tailored client solutions from a range of options to meet individual needs
- Attend and support AJBYI at marketing events to engage with existing and prospective customers and promote the AJBYI brand.
- Promote and educate customers on new product features and update customers on product developments

- You'll have existing sales experience within the Financial Services industry
- Previous Affluent or 'Premier Customer’ experience desirable
- Can-do attitude

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
