**SEND HLTA**
We are recruiting for a thriving secondary school located in Boston who are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced HLTA.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons, ensuring that all pupils are engaged and making progress
- Lead small group interventions to support pupils who need additional help with their learning
- Provide cover for the class teacher in their absence, delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring that the class is well-managed, and pupils are on task
- Monitor pupils' progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher
- Manage behaviour in the classroom, ensuring that all pupils are safe and following the school's behaviour policy
**Essential Requirements**:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Experience working as a HLTA in a secondary school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Understanding of the National Curriculum and how to effectively support pupils' learning
- Ability to manage behaviour in the classroom and follow the school's behaviour policy
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Experience leading interventions to support pupils' learning
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Experience using ICT to support teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
