Our client is a charity based in Colchester. They are passionate about supporting the local community through illness and bereavement. They believe that everyone has a right to be cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually and are looking for like-mindedindividuals to join their team as a **Resource Co-ordinator in their Volunteer Services Team.**
Our client is now on the lookout for a Resource Co-ordinator who will be responsible for Volunteer Recruitment and recruitment campaigns to deliver effective attraction, recruitment and retention of volunteers, with a particular focus on Retail.
**Duties (include but are not limited to)**
- Main point of contact for all Line Managers in relation to volunteer recruitment
- Planning, organising and executing recruitment campaigns and projects
- Building relationships with Retail Managers for required volunteer recruitment levels
- Building relationships with external organisations around promotional activity
- Maximising recruitment opportunities & ensuring roles are advertised across websites and social media
- Admin support for the Voluntary Services Team and ensuring data is accurate
- Ensuring compliance of all data in line with relevant legislation around volunteers
**Person Specification**
- NVQ in Administration and/or related Administration experience dealing with confidential information
- Competent with MS Office
- Experience working with volunteers
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Promotional/Events/Marketing experience
- Confident with building relationships and networking
- Good organisation skills
- Strong negotiation / communication skills
- Creative and innovative with the ability to prioritise
