**Pet Claims Handler - Permanent - hybrid - Borehamwood £24-25k**

**The basics**:

- Salary: £24-25k - Depending on background
- Hybrid Role - Wednesdays will be in the office which has onsite parking

**The responsibilities**:

- Processing new and continuing Claims and dealing with all correspondence
- Answering all calls promptly in an enthusiastic, courteous and efficient manner
- Identifying and responding to the needs of customers, resolving queries where possible.
- Promoting a positive image of Pinnacle Pet Group and client companies
- Maintaining work service standards
- Inputting all data and completing all related paperwork accurately
- Identify any risks to the department or business.
- To report any findings to your Team Leader or a member of the Management team at the earliest opportunity so that action can be taken & detriment minimised Identify any risks to the department or business.

**The skills needed**:

- GCSE’s passes A-C or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Microsoft Word and Excel (Basic Level)
- Previous decision making and customer service experience
- Ability to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
- A flexible and positive attitude
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proven letter writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail

**Desirables**:

- Finance or Insurance industry experience, ideally claims background
- Veterinary Knowledge would be an advantage
