If so, we have a unique opportunity in Ashford for a Quality Controller to work for one of our clients who is a leading importer of fresh produce, they are family run and well established.

In this role you would be working 06:00 to 17:00. You will be working Monday to Friday with alternate Weekends. 10 Hour shifts 4 days on, 3 days off. Our client is offering an excellent salary of £11.40 per hour.

**As the Online Quality Controller your responsibilities would include**:

- Quality Inspections of labels, weights, packaging, and the overall quality of the product
- Control and monitoring of shelf-life samples from date of production until end of life, communicating any issues to managers
- Liaising and working with production members regarding fruit quality and line efficiencies
- Training other members of staff
- Maintain and calibrate all equipment used during the in-loading/inspection process
- Other duties as deemed reasonable

**Person Specification**:

- Previous experience within fresh produce/quality control
- Excellent communication skills
- Some knowledge in IT
- Flexible attitude
- Eye for detail
- Ability to work well as a team member and to take own initiative
- Strong problem-solving abilities
