**Who you’ll work with**:
We’re looking for an expert Lead UX Researcher to join our Product Design team to cover a 13-month Fixed-term contract. We design, develop, test, and maintain all digital assets on Sky Bet, Sky Vegas, Sky Bingo, Sky Casino, and Sky Poker. We also run ITV7, Super 6, and Sky Bet Games.

**Your role in ‘better’**:

- You'll be leading and mentoring a small highly leveraged team of UX Researchers. You'll proactively seek out and provide feedback from designers and your wider peers to continually raise our bar for quality.
- Building relationships with other Research teams, Product Designers, UX Researchers, Product Management and Engineering to resolve problems and prioritise UX opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with product leadership you'll be the advocate for the UX strategy, enabling insights that arm the team with creating solutions that keep our users coming back. Not only will you drive this in Sky Bet and Gaming but work with other leaders to support research and design across the group in Paddy Power and Betfair.
- Lead research programmes across multiple products. Working with other design leads you'll build a culture of insight lead product design.
- Take the business on the design journey with you, working with the Product Design team you'll educate others about design thinking and its value, specifically focussing on the power of research to support decision making and enable innovation.
- You'll gain a deep understanding of our customers bringing them to the forefront, ensuring data and insights are relevant, so that genuine customer needs drive us to the best solutions.

**How you’ll create ‘better’**:

- A track record of leading successful research initiatives and expertise on a variety of research methodologies and tools.
- You have experience leading, mentoring and coaching the performance and development of a team.
- Experience leading a research team, prioritise insights and contextualise these for multiple stakeholders to digest easily.
- You understand the importance of qualitative and quantitative methods, you have hands-on experience and know how to choose the method that best answers the questions.
